About Me
I’m Aleksandra Vujić, Professor of Serbian Language with a BA in Serbian and a PhD in Human Rights. For over 20 years, I worked alongside international organisations, civil society professionals, and government officials — not as their teacher, but as their colleague.
This experience shaped how I teach institutional and professional Serbian, informed by frameworks such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
In fact, I help international professionals communicate clearly and confidently in Serbian — in meetings, emails, presentations, negotiations, and everyday situations.
Alongside language, I help you navigate the cultural context behind Serbian communication — how institutions work, how messages are structured, and how to express yourself naturally in formal and professional settings.
The Approach
Language Foundations
Grammar & vocabulary for real use
Structured lessons tailored to your level and professional context — grammar and vocabulary you can use immediately, not just in class, including common trouble spots like sam vs. se.
Professional Context
Language adapted to your sector
Terminology and communication patterns for your sector — human rights, governance, EU projects, civil society organisations, institutional frameworks, and multicultural settings. For example, everyday workplace interactions matter too — see what Serbian coffee culture really means at work.
Confident Communication
Speaking, writing, presenting
Step-by-step development of clarity and fluency — emails, reports, meetings, negotiations. However, even advanced speakers slip on details like verb aspect in professional writing — lessons catch exactly this.
